At Social Fashion Monster we want to be versatile and inclusive aesthetically, so in each collection we create a concept, a study of the shapes and what surrounds us.

New beginnings in Barcelona.

The city where it all began. Back to the inspirational origins of Mediterranean colour and shapes. Hydraulics are present in Anna's paintings, memories of childhood and youth. Going back to ancient craftsmanship, to go to the future.

Architecture, sun and sea have made this city a powder keg of creativity, and from this, the new collection was born.

The panots are closely related to the urban development of Barcelona's Eixample.

Traditionally, macadam stone was used for the pavement of the city. The problem that this generated was that, when it rained, it became a muddy surface due to its very nature. In fact, the city was even called Can Fanga.

From 1903 onwards, the need to use another type of pavement for Barcelona was seriously considered. Its expansion could not be understood without the existence of modernist architecture and this type of material.

From that moment on, the Barcelona City Council called for a public competition. In this way, a decision was made to finish paving the city. The panots option was chosen from among the 5 that existed.

The reason that led the authorities to opt for this material was fundamentally economic. It was the cheapest option of those that existed and in 1907 it began to be introduced into the pavement of the city.
